Hamilton has acted for Cinnober, a subsidiary to Nasdaq

Hamilton act­ed for Nasdaq -owned Cinnober, a glob­al provider of ex­change and clear­ing tech­nol­o­gy so­lu­tions, in re­la­tion to a new ini­tia­tive by Chicago-based OCC (The Options Clearing Corporation) to re­place its lega­cy clear­ing sys­tem with a sys­tem that em­ploys Cinnober’s TRADExpress RealTime Clearing tech­nol­o­gy.

OCC is the world’s largest eq­ui­ty de­riv­a­tives clear­ing or­ga­ni­za­tion and the cen­tral coun­ter­par­ty for all US ex­change-list­ed op­tions trades. In ad­di­tion, OCC clears trans­ac­tions in OTC op­tions, fu­tures and op­tions on fu­tures, as well as se­cu­ri­ties lend­ing trans­ac­tions.

Hamilton pro­vid­ed ad­vice to Cinnober in re­la­tion to ne­go­ti­a­tion and draft­ing of a System Software License and Development Agreement in­clud­ing all aux­il­iary agree­ments and doc­u­men­ta­tion in re­la­tion to the li­cense.
