Trainees
For newly graduated lawyers, a first step in your career might be in working as a trainee with us for six months. As a trainee, you will get to try the work of an associate and gain experience of what it is like to work with business law at a law firm. You will help our lawyers with on-going matters and try out a variety of tasks which will contribute to your development as a lawyer. You will be assigned an associate as sponsor to guide and support you in the many thoughts and questions you may have.

Summer trainees
Every summer, we hire students who are in the final stages of their legal education and who want to have the opportunity to find out what it is like to work as an associate. As a summer trainee, you will get the chance to try out work at a law firm for a four to ten week period. Thesis interns
We accept thesis interns on an ongoing basis. For a period of ten weeks, these interns get to take part in the on-going business of the firm. As a thesis intern, you will participate in the work at the firm and get an insight into the daily business at Hamilton. You will be assigned an associate as sponsor to guide and support you in the many thoughts and questions you may have.
